Potassium chloride - Potassium salt 60% K2O
(MINERAL FERTILIZER)

EC FERTILIZER SAFETY DATA SHEET EUROPEAN MEDAL

Potassium salt (potassium chloride) has a granulated and crystalline form. It is a concentrated, water-soluble potassium fertilizer with the nutrient (potassium oxide) content of 60%.

It can be used for all kinds of crop and on all kinds of soil. It is especially effective on peat and light sand soils. It enhances the productivity and improves the quality of cultivated plants enhancing the water management (resistance to droughts) and hasting the photosynthesis process. Plants well-supplied with potassium salt are more resistant to diseases and freezing. Fertilizing plants with potash influences their better usage of nitrogen, which impacts the size and quality of crops. Plants well-supplied with potash are conductive for human and animals health by enhanced potash content in the diet.

Potassium chloride is used for basic pre-seeding and maintenance fertilizing. Potassium salt should be mixed with the soil to the depth of 10-15 cm. It is appropriate for fertilizing of all cultivated plants except tobacco, hop, berry plants and some vegetables. For winter crops, winter rape and on permanent plantations potassium salt may be used after main summer harvest.

Potassium salt should be stored in stocking places, preventing the access of precipitation and ground waters. It is transported in bulk or packaged by means of sea, rail or road transport in accordance with the regulations applying to cargo transport by these means of transport.

Available in bulk, in 50 kg bags and in 500 kg big-bags.
