Packing Bulk
PE bags50 kg
PP big-bags 500 kg
Transportation It should be transported by means of transportation which protect the product from action of water, precipitation, direct sunlight and damage to the packaging. The fertilizer is not subject to RID or ADR regulations.
Storage Ammonium sulphate should be stored indoor in warehouses that are dry, clean, airy and properly prepared. Ammonium sulphate can be stored with solid NPK, DAP and potassium salt fertilizers.
Usage Ammonium sulphate is an acid fertilizer. Due to its property of reducing soil PH factor, it is advisable to use this grade on soils with alkaline or neutral reaction. It can also be used on acid soils if they are systematically limed. Ammonium sulphate, used directly before sowing, should be mixed thoroughly with the soil. Leaving the fertilizer without any cover on the soil with alkaline reaction can result in nitrogen losses. Ammonium sulphate is a source of not only nitrogen, but also sulphur. It is particularly useful for the fertilization of potatoes (it yields tubers richer in starch) as well as rape, maize, rye, oat and other plants requiring sulphur. Potatoes fertilized with ammonium sulphate are richer in starch. Ammonium sulphate can be mixed with potassium fertilizers, NPK fertilizers and ammonium phosphate.
Recommended doses Crops Recommended dose (kg/ha)
Consumption potatoes 60 - 120
Cereals 60 - 120
Sugarbeet and fodder beet 60 - 120
Rapeseed 210 - 340
Grassland 120 - 210
In order to determine a proper application dose the following factors must be taken into account: actual soil parametres, soil class, average yield per ha in preceeding years, forecrop, and other nutrients applied.
